FSAA eLearning Platform

If you’re a manager or team leader in the foodservice industry, you know how important it is to have a team of skilled sales and marketing professionals. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the FSAA eLearning platform, an exclusive program available to our valued Company Members.

Our value-selling modules are designed to equip your team with the skills they need to sell value rather than price, understand customer needs, and build and strengthen relationships. The program is self-paced, making it easy for your team to learn at their own convenience, and the seven comprehensive lessons can be used as standalone modules to develop specific skills.

Each lesson includes interactive games, video and/or audio instruction, key message slides, and downloadable content such as planners, pocket cards, and checklists. Delegates are given four weeks to complete each lesson, and they will receive a downloadable PDF workbook and a personal action plan that can be shared with client leadership.

With our eLearning platform, you can onboard new team members, upskill existing staff, and equip your team with the knowledge they need to succeed in the foodservice industry. You’ll also have the ability to track your team’s progress and receive scoring for their skill testing.

FSAA Mentoring Program

The purpose of the FSAA Mentoring Program is to provide a member-exclusive service where senior industry leaders partake in a program to help guide and advise people from within the supply side of the industry in the disciplines of leadership and what it takes to understand the varied skills, knowledge and experience to achieve that position via knowledge sharing. Open to all levels within a member company, we encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Objectives and Outcome Desired

Attract and retain talent in the sales, marketing and general business disciplines within the Foodservice channel
Use the skills, knowledge and experience of senior industry leaders to assist in career development of their mentees
Provide a direction for mentees to resolve their own issues, not have the mentor do their work for them
Encourage mentees to “stretch” and challenge themselves in a business sense
Establish specific areas that will be relevant to the participants within sales and marketing
Establish a measurement system that reflects the success or otherwise of individual programs

FSAA Business Management Scholarship

In 2013 we introduced another industry first -the FSAA Business Management Scholarship.We will be offering this initiative every year.

This exciting opportunity is open only to member companies of the FSAA with the ultimate winner receiving a six day live-in management course at one of Australia’s premier executive colleges – the Melbourne Business School.
This provides people with an excellent opportunity to expand their business knowledge by using the latest techniques.
